SKIBBE ELECTRONICS was started in the late 90's by producer and engineer team Bill Skibbe and Jessica Ruffins. The company operates out of their studio the Key Club Recording Co. in Benton Harbor Michigan (a town well known for the House of David commune, Voice of Music, and Heathkit).
In 1997 the couple built their first product, a pair of RED STRIPE limiters for a vocal session that they were working on. Within a few months, the word got out, and the two decided to do a full fledged production run and officially start SKIBBE ELECTRONICS.
All SKIBBE ELECTRONICS products are hand built, made in the USA, and are tested in the recording studio.
